"I love the hummingbirds"
Sometimes people just want to talk to someone.
Cody and I live at and run a retreat and conference center for a college in SC. We get to host families visiting their kids, going to football games, speaking in chapel, etc. They are all so friendly and love staying here. This place is a home. It is comfy like your grandma's house. The mauve carpet is a comfort since it reminds me of the 80's. The people always seem to come back to the living room to chat with us. These are sweet moments that I listen closely, b/c I believe it's God's way of telling me something I need to know. You never know where these conversations will take you, but I love being a part of them.
