Tonight I went to our president's retirement banquet. He is leaving us at the end of the semester. 

My favorite congressman... Gresham Barrett spoke tonight. 

(I'm kind of partial since his daughter was my roommate after college) 

There a lot of other speakers honoring Dr. Spittal. It was a nice evening filled with great stories. He has been our president for past 17 years. He had a vision for our school and I think he has left us in a great place to finish  fulfilling that vision.
